I'm inclined toward Van Til's notion of there being no such thing as a 'view from nowhere.'

I think this makes for a terribly vexing situation in a system that assumes that we can be 100% totally objective at all times. This is precisley where people who study these sorts of things are going to point to modernism collapsing.

To demand that a person not take religious views into their decision making is to allow the 'non-religious' views of the State to trump all others.

The State says, 'It is the belief of the State that all beliefs deriving from religious thinking are disallowed.'

That doesn't sound 'impartial' to me.
