Is the presence of non-Christians in a regular Sunday worship gathering of a local church something we should expect and desire? Why do we have so little confidence or expectation that non-Christians would show up if invited? Why is the tendency in the American church to believe that 'evangelism' does/should happen far more frequently in one-on-one situations or in a small group than in the gathered worship of the people of God? Are you routinely inviting non-Christians to attend worship with you? Why or why not?
